THE BUTOHERINGS CONTINUED. A SULLEN PUBLIC. Received February 2, 9.12 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, February 1.
The Russian public sullenly resents the constant arrests, shootings and hangings by the authorities. Very little interest is being taken in the Duma electoral campaign. The parties are undergoing a regrouping. The strongest factors are commercial, agrarian, and industrial interests. Sixteen Jewish anarchists have been summarily executed at Warsaw.
