Mr Augustine LSirrall, President of the Board nf Education, speaking at Bristol, sajd that for some mouths to' come he would be immersed in the details of the Education Bill, in which ho was already wholly absorbed. His thoughts tamed to no other channel than tnose connected with this great reform, aud be hoped a happy settlement, would be reached. He hoped that the Cnristianity which all were so anxious to impart to the workers' children would not disappear eutire'y from the debates on the question in the House of Commons, and that a spirit of forbearance would be exhibited by all, whatever standpoint was taken.
