DISASTER TO A BRAZILIAN IRONCLAD.
POWDER MAGAZINE EXPLODES THREE HUNDRED PERISH. INCLUDING FOUR REARADMIRALS. Received January 23, 9.26 p.m. RIOJANIERO, Jan. 23. The powder magazine of the ironclad Aquidaband blew up at midnight on Sunday at Jacaie Pagna, while escorting the Ministerial party aboard the cruiser Barross, which was on a tour of inspection of the sites for a naval yard. The Aquidaband sa"k in three minutes. It is reported that three hundred perished. One officer was saved. Those drowned iucluded four RearAdmirals and a number of naval officers and Government officials who were guests-on the Aquidaband,
