Smith's stock-taking sale, when the large and well-assorted stock in the Mastertou premises will be offered to tho public at bargain prices, i For some time past Mr Smith's staff have been engaged in tho marking down of prioeß, and all the goods are marked in plain figures, showing reductions that assure custommers of exceptional bargains, as every department has beeu called upon to make sacrifices in order to reduce the stook}(f»and to make room for the new season's goods. In an advertisement appearing elsewhere in this issue a general invitation is given to customers to share in the bargains to be offered, and'particulars of some of the reductions in different lines will be found in an inset, which is circulated with this issue.
