WRESTLING.
HARRY PEARCE'S EXHIBITION. Harry Pearce, "champion wrestler of Australasia." is announced to give an exhibition of physical culture, all-round wrestling and athletics, in the Foresters' Hall this evening. Apart from the fact that Pearoe offers £lO to any man he fails to defeat in 15 minute s *, and that Harry Sando'w and Dick Carroll, champion of Taranaki, have accepted the challenge, the entertainment should be full of interest for reason that it will eive an opportunity to see the methods of perhaps the cleverest wrestler south of the line, for years ago Pearce was freely admitted in Australia to know everything there was to know about wrestling, and to have the capacity to apply his knowledge to the fullest effect. Apart from the ordinary wrestling Pearoe makes a specialty of Jiu Jitsu, the Japanese style whioh is attracting so much attention all over the wor>d jusf now, and those present this evening should be afforded some interesting examples of the possibilites of this great Oriental art.
