RACING.
PAHIATUA' ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the 'first day's handicaps and entries for the Trial Hack Plate F and Maiden Hack Scurry close with the Secretary, Mr G. L. Hawley Drew, at 9 p.m., on Fiiday next, January 19. FOXTON RACING CLUB. Ownen are reminded in connection with the approaching meeting of the Foxton Racing Club, to be held on January 22 and 23 instants, that acceptances for the first day and entries for the Maiden Hack Hurdles and Trial Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Hack Scurry (second day), close on Tuesday, January 16, 1906, at 9 p.m. The nominations received this year &re in excess of th use of last year by 35. the respective numbers being 186 and 221. Mr Angus Keith, the energetic Secretary, is leaving noetono unturned to ensure a most successful meeting, and there is every indication that the Foxton Club will take a good forward step in its 19C6 meeting.
