INQUEST.
W. P. DOWNEY'S DEATH. NAPIER, January 12. At the inquest on the body of W. P. Downey, who died from the effects of taking horse liniment, a verdict was returned that death was caused by turpentine poison, selfadministered, while suffering from the effects of excessive dri nkiug.
