THE BUTTER TRADE.
LARGE ORDERS REFUSED. DLJNEDIN, January 12. The Taieri aud Peninsula Milk Supply Company has had to refuse an order during the past week for the supply of 1200 boxes of butter per month, including a substan tial monthly shipment to Vancouver. The crioe of butter fat hua been advanced one penny par pound as compared with last year, but the supply is still a long way short of the demand.
