A BRITISH CONCESSION WITHDRAWN. Received January 10, 8.36 a.m. LONDON, January 9. China, in order to conciliate the anti-foreign party, has withdrawn the British concession for the construction of the Shanghai-Hang-chang Railway, which was given to compensate for a previous breach of faith.
