DISASTROUS LANDSLIP.
SIXTEEN PERSONS KILLED. Received January 10, 8.36 a.m. NEW YORK. Jan. 10. r A luudslip at Haverstraw, in'the State of Now York, precipitated eight houses into a clay pit a hundred feet deep. Sixteen persons were killed, including members of the leading families of the place. The debris of the houses took fire, and the victims were incinerated.
