KNIGHT-JEFFRIES COMPANY.
+ The piece to be staged by Mr J. C. Williamson's Knight - Jeffries Company for their farewell performance, viz., "A Royal Divorce," has been before the public now for a long time aa an exceptionally brilliant and interesting play, and ifc'a wonderful popularity has never wavered for a moment. The Company is now playing a reoord season in Wellington, and the "Royal-Di-vorce" stands out high among a series of great successes. The first night of its revival there, the Wellington Opera House presented a soene of the greatest enthusiasm. Mr Julius Knight and Miss Maud Jeffries have received much vociferous applause during their respective careers, but it is doubtful whether they ever experienced such an ovation as was accorded Napoleon and Josephine ou New Year's Night. The box plan will be opened at Boilings' to-morrow.
