court: statistics. ASHBURTON, January 4. The police records show that 122 cases were dealt with in 1905 against 107 in 1904. Twenty-two cases were brought in 1905 for sly-grog selling and convictions obtained in 15. In 1904 tbere were 33 cases, la 1905 there were 35 convictions for drunkenness, and in 1404 19. In 1905 there were 21 cases of theft, and in 1904 13.
