DAMAGE BY LIGHTNING. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. s/. Lightningjduring yesterday's storm damaged the Harbour Board's telephone at Adderley Head signal station. It struck a tall pine tree at Burwood, near Christchurch, and Kindled a heap of dry branches at the foot of the tree, the fire spreading to a neighbouring shed which waß destroyed.
