ANNUAL SPORI'S. {From Our Own Correspondent). TINUI. January 1. ThoTiuui Athlotio Glnb held their annual sports on Saturday, Docorober 30, which proved a huuo success. The woafchor was perfect, and tho attendance largo; the events were all got off to time, and the general management reflects great credit ou the secretary (Mr C. Stilborn) and the committee. The starter, All H. Molsaacs, got the Melds away well together, and the very close finishes proved that Messrs B. Stilborn and J. McGann were capable haudicappers, Messrs P. W. Groves and J. Uhaptuau gave general satisfaction as judges. The horse events attracted large entries, and as usual au excited crowd, but were somewhat marred by Mr Gordon Lang's horse Cavendish falling over one of the jumps and rendering its rider unconscious for a time and permanently iujuring itself.
