WELLINGTON v. CANTERBURY. At Wellington on Saturday the local eleven and Canterbury commenced their annual fixture. Canterbury made 71 (Ollivier 13 and Lawrenoe 13) in their first Innings, and 166 (Lawrience 38, Patrick 33 and Ollivier 18) in their second attempt. Wellington made 152 (Redgrave 34, J. Blaoklook and Monaghan not out 29). In their second innings, Wellington, who required 86 runs to win, have their six best batsmen out for 29 runs. The match will be finished this morning.
