UPPER HUTT HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION.

The weekly dances at the school, held under the auspices of the association, continue to cater for "capacity" houses. Visitors from Wellington, Lower Hutt, Petone and all parts of the Upper Valley were present last Saturday night. The music supplied by Mrs. Hirschhorn's Orchestra, plus excellent general arrangements on the part of the dance committee, are established features contributing to the continued success of these functions. Extras played by Mr. Horner (piano accordion), assisted by Mr. Cam. Prentice (drums), and by Mr. M. Solomon (piano), .were much appreciated. The next "Big" (1/-) nig-ht, to-morrow, the 28th, promises to be a greater success than even the last one, so the "extras" fund for the children should again be appreciably augmented.
