Rogers portrays a double-fisted, ten-der-hearted country editor who proves that the years after forty are the best and goes in quest of the fountain of youth. He launches a series of situations that smash the funny bone to smithereens. "Life Begins at 40" relates the romance of a young school teacher and a youth "railroaded" to prison. The shrewd editor brings to light facts that clears the boy, and stirs up a hornet's nest of fun in the process. Lavishly produced, "Kid Millions" offers several gorgeous girl and song numbers, and the "Mandy" number, which Eddie introduced in an early Ziegfield Follies, is revived and is staged with terrific effect. "Okay, Toots," "An Earful of Music," ""When My Ship Comes In," and "Your Head on My Shoulder," are other tuneful hits you'll be humming and -whistling for months. "Kid Millions" is a million dollars' -worth of entertainment. See it and treat yourself to the greatest film fun feast in years.
