The Third and Fourth Grade teams '<■ met at Quinn's Post and the Fourths : for the second season beat their eldei- | brothers. The game was played in a g-ive and take spirit, several of the boys thinking' it was a day out for them, but on the whole the Fourths deserved their win. Clements scored early. 5 0. During- "! a melee in front of the goal, it looked as if the Thirds were about to score, j but one of the Fourth lads came \ around and forced. Offside spoilt many | chances. Morton attempted a field goal, but missed. A. McCarthy made a pro- | | raising run, but was brought down. A j | free kick to the Fourths made the score j Fourths S, Thirds 0. The Thirds scored ; | a try and Golder beat two men and -went j ' over but the kick missed. One of the ; ~i Thirds scrambled over for the final try j j of the game. Fourths 11, Thirds 6. I A. McCarthy and Golder played espej cially well. H. St. Johnston had a day j off. Colin Morton still plays a good game. The coaches, Messrs. Mcßandall (-Thirds) and Wyeth (Fourths) are to j be congratulated and thanked for the I way they have kept their teams to- ! ! g-ether this season. It is hoped that next -| season -will see both of them on the job | again.
