OBITUARY.

THOMAS SAMUEL BUKRELL. A well-known resident of the Upper Hutt district, Mr. T. S. Burrell, died at his residence in Ebdentown on Saturday night last. Mr. Burrell had been ailing for some little time, but his death came as a shock to his relatives and friends. Connected with farming- all his life, he yet found time to interest himself in Rugby football, and at the time of his death was chairman of the Upper Hutt Rug-by Football Club, in which organisation his loss will be greatly felt. The late Mr. Burrell is survived by his widow, three sons and one daughter. The funeral took place on Monday last at Trentham, where representatives of the business, farming- and sportingcommunities gathered to pay their last respect.
