LATER EUROPEAN AND AUSTRALIAN NEWS.
Auckland, February 8. The steamers Wonga Wonga and Hero arrived from Sydney to-day, Hobabt Town, February 2. The cricket match between the Tasmanian and Victorian teams drew a large attendance. Governor Weld was present. Tasmania made 60, and followed their innings, scoring 210. Victoria then to the wickets, and won by eight wickets. Bkisbanw. The Brisbane, Townsville boat, upset while going to Victoria with33,Chinamen. 12 are missing.
