Correspondence.

ALEXANDKA FEKEY APPROACHES

[To the Editor.)

Sie,— ln your issue of 23rd ult. is a communication from this place giving an account of the ferry approaches now in course of construction, and my object iv writing is to correct a mistake in said report. The fact is that the plans and specifications under which tenders were called ore not being adhered to ; on the contrary, the course of the road is so altered that the quantity of earth to be shifted is reduced by nearly 300 cubic yards, which is a great consideration in a contract of a little over £100. — I am, &c, Febbt. Alexandra, 30th Jan., 1875.
