The regular weekly meeting of the Waste Lauds B.oard was held on Wednesday.. There were present: the Commissioner (Mr. J. 'V. Thomson),, in the chair; and Messrs Bastings, Batterworth. Clark; and Ueid. WAIKOIKOI HONDRED.— .VALUATION 'AUD ■ ; UPSET PRICE. > The question of valuation of fencing in. Waikoikoi Hundred, also, the upset price at which the lands to be sold there should be offered, came up for ' Consideration. It was*resolved that the land be opened on the 7th Jani'iary, 1875, J for sale at the upset price of ,40s per acre. Sale to take place .under ,pjower given, in clause 85 of the Act, of ,1872, being land of special value, from improvements and compensation having been paid to the runholders. APFMCATIONS TO PURCHASE UNDBK AGRICULTURAL LEASE, i. -.-, > Were'nikde as follows : — Mr.'-ilas" >>< E. Buchanan, section 12, block 111, T^iapeke West.' Approved. Mr. James Rose, section ' 46, block IV.; Crookslon district. A case of unauthorised settlement on a deferred payment block was mentioned, •and it was resolved that notfee be published cautioning persons against- the illegal occupation of Crown lands.
