(Before E. H. Carew, Esq., Warden.) Monday, 21st Decembeb, 1874. The application of M'Nab and party for a water race was adjourned, for parties to agree as to future, probable damages to tail races. The application of John Smith for an agricultural lease of section 44, block XVIII., Tuapeka East was adjourned to riew the land.- ; , The application. of William Benetto for an agricultural lease of section 27, block HL, Table Hill, was withdrawn. The application of John Duffy for an agricultural lease of section 40, block VI., Tuapeka West was adjourned to see where the boundary of block VI. terminates. The application of Joseph Higgins for an agricultural lease of section 28, block HI., Table Hill was withdrawn. The. application of Abraham and Isaac Long for a tail race at Wetherstonea was granted. The application of Ah Kum and Ah Lung f orprotection for 90 days was granted. Holmes v. the Beaumont and \Tuapcka Water Race. Company (Registered). — This was a complaint of breach of i G-oldfields in omitting to renew water license, and was of a friendly character. Mr. Sing, the manager, represented the Company. Fined 6s in lieu of forfeiture, and costs of Court 6s.
