PRESENTATION TO MR R. J. CREIGHTON.
On the 2nd Oct. the gentlemen connected with the ' Guardian' Printing Company met together at Bayley's Hotel for the purpose of presenting to Mr Ureighton a Blight testimonial of their regard on the occasion of his retirement from that journal to take charge of the * New Zealand Tunis. ' Every person employed on the • Guardian ' was present, and the presentation (a moat valuable graphoseope) was made 'by Mr Kichard H. Leary, the legal manager of the company, who, in & seat and appropriate speecn, expressed the general regret which was felt on the occasion of Mr Creighton's retirement, and proposed his health, which was drank with great enthusiasm.
