Dr. Carr succeeded in attracting large houses at Coghill's Assembly Rooms, Havelock, on Wednesday, and at the Athenaeum Hall, Waitahuna, on Thursday evenings. On both occasions hfi was fortunate in obtaining good subjects on which to manipulate. Last evening, Dr. Carr lectured to a large and attentive audience at Hindes' Assembly Rooms, Blue Spur. From advertisement it will be seen that the Dr. will appear at Roxburgh on Monday, Alexandra on Thursday, and Clyde the following day.
