(Before liis Honor Judge Gray.) Wednesday, 9th Septbmbeb.
Re The Havilah Hill Gold Mining Company (Registered.) Mr. G-ooday proceeded ■with the petition of sundry shareholders m the Company that it should be wound up. He read several affidavits in support of the petition, and was complimented by the judge on the able way in which they were prepared. BSb Honor said he would further require that an affidavit should be filed showing the capital of the Company ; how much had been paid \ip j whether there is any special feature aa to the character of the arrears ; what calls hare been made, and what amount has been paid on them ; as to the amount of existing" debts, and the amounts for which judgment has been recovered ; and some further information, which, was specified. The matter was then adjourned to Saturday next, to give Mr. Gooday time to to supply these affidavits.
