THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.

Auckland, August 24th. The Tartar has arrived with the English mails. She left San Francisco on 28th July, and arrived at Honolulu on the sth August, having made the fastest passage on record. Left on the 6th ; arrived at Kandavu on the 18th ; and finding no vessel there, she proceeded to Auckland, arriving last night at 11 o'clock.
