Interesting to Naturalists.— The remains of an extinct animal, it ia reported by the " Age," have been found at Bong Bong, near Maryborough It is either the lower or upper jawbone of> some defunct rodent animal. It measures three and a half inches in length, and in depth fully an inch and a half, and was dug out of solid red clay eight feet from the surface. The sockets of teeth on one aide of the jaw show clearly, and on the other a part of the two front teeth. MrMathew the finder, intends to forward the specimen to Professor M'Cqy. '
