I (From the Dunedin Dailies. ) _ Auckland, July 25. A man named Finley fired two shots through the shop window of Mr. Young, butcher, Queen-etreefc, afc Davis, his clerk. Both ballß lodged harmlessly in the wall. The man, when arrested, had a six-barrelled revolver, loaded and cocked. It was taken from him. Ho cause is assigned for the deed, Napiee, July 25. The immigrant ship Winchester has just arrived in the bay, after a fine passage of 84 days, with 430 immigrants.
