Henderson v. Cowap. — Claim for £3, the price of a boiler. The defendant had sold his chatties and fixtures at the Beaumont to Herbert and Co., who sold the same to the plaintiff. The defendant (who did not appear) had sold the boiler to a Mr. Bryant for 18s., and this boiler, it was alleged, was one of the chatties sold to Herbert and Co. His Worship said he thought the plaintiff had made out s.prima facie case, and, as it was unanswered, judgment would necessarily be for him. Judgment for £2 : witnesses' expenses, 205. : and professional costs, 21s. Mr. Henderson appeared for the plaintiff. Cox v. Dooly. — The summons not having been served after several attempts to do so, the date of hearing was extended 14 days.
