THE BAZAAR.
(To (lie Editor.) Sib, — Will you be kind enough to afford tiae space in your columns for the following questions: — 1. Can a minister look for a J^r blessing to attend his labors if he encourages gambling ? 2. Is it right for a multitude of professing Christians to persuade and force people to gamble ? 8. Can the influence of such conduct in a civilised community be for good ? 4. Are policemen doing their duty when they allow a society of gamblers to play before their eyes, and they aware of the fact ? 5. Being told by an Episcopalian that the late bazaar was a religious swindle, I would like to know what constitutes a religious 'swindle ? 6. Is ifc right to rob men in order to defray a church debt? I will feel greatly to any one who will furnish me with answers to these questions. — I am, &c-, Ignoramus.
