Certificate to issue on payment of the first half-year's rent. , Robert Craig and John Muir, applicants for section 14, block IV., Waitahuna east, and section 29, block X., Waitahuna East, respectively, did not appear. The applications of John Cormack for section 39, block I, Crooks ton, and of John Duncan for section 12, block VI,, Waitahuna west, were adjourned for survey. Horace Lyne Squires' application for section 29, block VII., Waitahuna east, was granted, subject to the area.for railway being deducted. The application of Robert Elliot' for section 1, block XVII., Tuapeka East, was. adjourned for survey, to exclude area for reservoir, "Henry Balliston and John Jackson applied for protection for their claim No. 1084, for 90 days, granted. J, C. Love v. Maria Lunglep, as JSxecutrix of the late George Langley. —This was a friendly complaint, charging defendant with a breach of Clause 12, of Regulation XII., of the Goldtields Regulations, in neglecting to renew water licenses No. 1561, dated October 4, 1872, and No. 1562, dated October 4,1872. Fined 55., in lieu of forfeiture and coats of Court, Bs.
