Sib, — What is all this about " Limited Liability, the credit system, and so forth, appearing in your columns of late ? The subject seems to be very elastic, however. One bends it round to bolster up Good Templarism; "A Sufferer" from Alexandra makes use of it as a cloak for personal scandal ; and there is the Alexandra Mother, who always finds something to be dissatisfied with — even the Chinese getting claims affects her. On reading "Sufferer's" letter over the other day with a friend, he exclaimed, " He is a real philanthropist, that fellow. An auctioneeer's license granted free for life, and a right to oppose all other licenses, would be but a poor reward for such noble sentiments. — I am, &c, Sufficiency. Clyde, Feb. 18th.
