TUAPEKA HOSPITAL.

A special meeting of the Committee of Management of the above institution was held in the Commercial Hotel, on January 29th. Present ; Messrs. Halley (in the chair), Hill, Harrop, Hiilp, Kofoed, Armstrong, and Hayes (Secretary.) The minutes of the hut meeting were read and confirmed. Mr. Armstrong moved, and Mr. Kofoed seconded, " That the annual report and bal-ance-sheet, as read by the President, be received." Carried. Mr. Harrop proposed, and Mr. Hills, seconded, " That it be adopted." Carried. The President intimated that Mr. Murray, of Murray's Circus, had signified his willingness to give an entertainment in aid of the funds of the Hospital. Mr. moved, and Mr. Hills seconded, " That Mr. Hay, the collector, be instructed to make arrangements for the entertainment, subject to, the approval of the Committee." Carried.
