I ( To tlie Editor. ) 1 Sir, — I am sware that the annual mail tenders are now being definitely settled, but details admit of alteration. I see that a biweekly m#il service between Lawrence and Tapanui has not been provided for, whereas a bi-weekly service has been provided for Switzers, which is not equal to Tapanui in resources, which has a growing trade and an increasing population, and which, by a short detour of 14 miles, could be brought into" bi\feekly postal communication with Lawrence. — I am, &c, ~ Gum Tkke.
