NOTES OF PREPARATION.
(To the Editor.) Sib, — Viewing the Templars merely as a body who are capable of acting in concert, I would suggest that they should constitute themselves into a distinct body on the occasion of the approaching vice-regal ceremonial. Organisation is sure to produce military method and parliamentary decorum, and I hope that the Foresters, Oddfellows, Ma3ous, and Templars, will bring their capability for producing order out of confusion to bear on the visit of his Excellency. Clannishness has nothing to do with this suggestion. I think it desirable that men who are accustomed to discipline, whether thej- arc Oddfellows, Foresters, Masons, or Templars, are the most suitable managers of any ceremonial, and those who arc most likely to achieve a success. — I-am, &c. Old Resident.
