Wednesday, sth November. (Before E. H. Carew, Esq., Warden.) Taylor y. Morrison and Go. and Clayton and Go. — This case was further adjourned to Bth November. Tho following applications were granted : — Extended claims, Johu M. King and John M'Master ; residence areas, Hugh Mackay and John Henderson ; head race, John B. King and John M'Master; dam, John M'Master. Blewiit v. Ah Soeio and Blewitt v. Ah Gee. — This was a complaint charging the defendants with mining on Crown lauds without a license, which charge was proved. Each defendant was fined 10s. ; costs, lls. ; and in default 5 days imprisonment.
