WARDEN'S COURT, LAWRENCE.
(Before E. H. Carew, Esq., Warden.) Wednesday, Bth Octobbb. Tho application of Thomas Hinde for an agricultural lease of land at the Blue Spur was objected to by the residents there, and the Warden therefore declined to grant the same. .(Lease refused. Charles Duncan also applied for an agricultural lease of section 43, block xix., which was refused; the Provincial Government having withdrawn from, leasing any part of block xix. Daniel Tucker's application was similarily treated. John Bryants application for leases of the following sections were adjourned for survey :— Section 12, block X ; section 3, block IX ; section 42, block X ; and section 4, block IX. John Thompson's application for an agricultural lease of section 42, block VII., Waitahuna East, was granted. The following applications for mining rights were granted ; — John Jackson and Henry Ballister for an extended claim of two acres, also for head race, tail race, and dam. John M'lntyre and D. Reeee for elalm of two acre 3* — Ah JOe and Party claim of six acres.
