(Press Association.) Duxedik, July 2. In the Provincial Couucil this afternoon, Mr. Shand, member for the Taieri, tabled a motion for discussion to-morrow : " That this Council has no confidence in the Tolmie Executive, because they are not the true advocates of progress ; and, in fact, have proved themselves incompetent to conduct the affairs of the province " An inquest was held to-day on the body of a woman named Jane Edmonds. The verdict was " Found drowned in a ditch at Forbury."
