NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. TOKOMAIRIRO AND LAWRENCE. mENDERS are invited by the Colonial J- Government for the construction of Railway between Tokomairiro and Lawrence—a distance of 22 miles. The Line is divided into five Sections, and tenders will be received for any of them, or for the whole Railway in one Contract. Drawings and Specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Dune din and Wellington, on and after Monday, the 21st instant. Written Tenders, addressed to the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside, "Tender for the Tokomairiro and Lawrence Railway " ; or, " Tender for the Contract of the Tokomairiro and Lawrence Railway" — will be received at this Office up till 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the 21st May, 1873. Telegraphic Tenders similarly addressed and marked will be received, if presented at any Telegraph Office by noon of the same date, provided that written tenders, in due form, are lodged at the office of the District Engineer, at Dunedin, Christchurch, or Auckland, by the above hour.
