London, March 22nd. TheXiverpool wool sales show a decline of 2d. on best class, and Id. on medium. The attendance was good. The Right Honoraole Mr. Gathome Hardy brought forward in the House of Commons a motion to the effect that the Government of Great Britain should inform the other powers that it dissents from the principle of the Geneva Award, as the rules of the Treaty of Washington render the observance of neutrality impossible. Mr. Forster Jessel replied that it was imperative and more politic to ask America to withdraw, the rules and substitute others, and then jointly to submit them for ratification to the great powers. Mr. Hardy's motion was ultimately withdrawn. The Queensland Meat Preserving Company are issuing 8 per cent, debentures to the amount of £14,000.
