Intense excitement prevails in San Francisco on the subject, and threats of lynching her have been uttered.

Mr Webb's steamer Dac#ah leaves San Francisco for Auckland on November Gth, and is expected to reach Auckland on December 2nd. She will be followed by the Santiago de Cuba.
