The R.M. commented severely upon people allowing their cattle to stray in the town, aud said that in future convictions the highest pentaly allowed would be iuflicted, viz., £5.

T. Hopwood and John Cousins, for furious riding, were each fined 20s. and costs Gs. Gd.
