Thuesdat, September 2G. (Before Vincent Pyke, Esq., R.M., and Edward Herbert, Esq., J.P.) Anderson v. Campbell. — No appearance of either party. Struck out.' Ford v. Hunter.— Claim of £10 for assault. Mr. M'Coy appeared for plaintiff. Case diamisced. "W. Draper, for allowing a cow to 'wander in the streets, was fined 10s. and costs. The R.M. commented severely upon people allowing their cattle to stray in the town, aud said that in future convictions the highest pentaly allowed would be iuflicted, viz., £5.
T. Hopwood and John Cousins, for furious riding, were each fined 20s. and costs Gs. Gd.
