(Before Mr. Warden Pyke.) Monday, August 27.

Grundy v. Leslie. — This waa an information laid against defendant for allowing pigs to stray on the goidtields commonage. Defendant admitted the charge. The Warden said as this was the iirst prosecution of the kind, he w»uld deal leniently with the defendant. He wished it, however, to be clearly understood that the court was determined to preveut pig 3 running on the commonage. He would inflict a fine of ss. each for the two sows, and Is. each for the grunters, with costs 16s. Mr. Copland appeared for defendant.
