The s.s. Tararua left Lyttleton on the 4th, arrived at Timaru on the 15th, received cargo, sailed same day, and arrived at Port Chalmers at 10 a.m. this forenoon, having experienced thick foggy weather and calms during the'passage. The s.s. j Beautiful Star, from Lyttelton via intermediate ports, arrived at noon today, and was placed alongside the ship Warwick to tranship cargo. The s s. Taranaki left the Graving Dock this forenoon, preparatory for sailing this afternoon for Northern Ports.

The Graving Dock was this afternoon pumped out, and the unshipping of the Omeo's rudder proceeded with.
