A REPLY.

(To the Editor.)

Sir, — In justice to myself, I beg you to insert in your paper a reply to Mrs. Nieper's^ letter, which appeared in your issue of the 29fch February.

I am in a position to prove that Mrs. Nieper did give tne instructions to bring a housekeeper for a man she called Harry, and also a servant girl for herself. At the time of doing so, she requested me to take a note of the instructions, so that I should not.forget them. To the other assertions of Mrs. Nieper I beg to give an unqualified denial. — I am, &c,

Daniel Lewis
