Mr. Dairy mple, jnnr., for Mr. John Bruce, of Tokomairiro, applied for payment of <£12 7s. 10d., as an indemnity for loss said to have been .sustained through, it was alleged, an issue, by mistake, of a Crown Grant to Louis Grurining instead of to himself. The matter was referred to the Chief Cora-
missioner.
The Board declined the application of Mr. W. O. Ball to purchase 43a.. 3r. 24:]). of Run 80, with consent of .the runholder.
A report was read from Warden Borton, on the application of Charles Nicholson, to have a reserve of threeacres in the township of Ettrick made, and that it be dealt with with a view of erecting a flour mill, thereon. It was resolved that the mill site and other sections be laid off by the District Surveyor, and offered for sale.
