Extent of Land applied for — Ten acres. Minimum natmber of men to be employed by the Lessees'— For the first six months, six men ; suqsequently, when in full work, twelve men. Amount of capital proposed to be invested —Three Thousand Pounds (£3000.) Proposed mode of -working Hie Icitxd — By tunnelling, sinking, and taking out quartz, and crushing the same by machinery. Precise locality — Walshe's Gully, behind John Cousin's residence, and about 200 yards from Gabriel's Gully. Terms of which lease required — Fifteen years. Time for commencing operations — Immediately after the granting of the certificate. The above application, and any objection thereto, will be heard before the Warden, at Lawrence, on the 31st, day of January, 1872. Any person desiring to object to the granting of a mining lease upon said application, must, within 25 days from the date of said application, lodge his objections at my office at Lawrence. W. L.
