HONOR TO WHOM HONOR IS DUE.
(To tU Editor.)
Sib, — A paragraph appeared in a recent issue of your jourcul describing the accident to Mr. Croysdale, miner, Havelock, which concluded thus "The sufferer was promptly conveyed to the Hospital where his 1 injuries were attended to by Dr. Stewart." From this your readers would be led to infer that Croysdale received no attention before being removed ; while the fact is Dr. Johnson attended him, and to such good purpose, that' on his arrival at the Hospital he appeared so comfortable that it was not considered necessary to do anything further till morning. Tour informant I don't know. Mine was Mr. W. Cam, one Croysdajle's mates. By inserting this in your next issue you will oblige, Yours, &c, Waitahuna. Fair-plat.
