Arbuckle, for a Wholesale License for store in feel-street. — Granted. William Houston applied for a Bottle License for a store at Manuka Greek. The police objected, as there was a publichouse in the immediate neighbourhood, and there was no necessity for it. The Bench remarked that as the signatures to the application were those of non-residents, they would adjourn the case for 14 days, so that they might be satisfied that the license was required.
